EPR Optimisation

Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (LTHT) is a leading healthcare provider and provides a wide range of acute, emergency and speciality care to several million patients on an annual basis.

LTHT are one of the few NHS trusts who have chosen to build a bespoke, in-house Electronic Patient Record system. LTHT required additional technical skills and capability to optimise their EPR in order to achieve HIMSS Level 5 certification.

The Result

Evolution were engaged to provide ‘as is’ analysis and identify the skills and capability gaps for the future phases of the programme.

The programme spanned across several key initiatives, such as; moving the system to the Cloud; digitising the frontline services; integrating with ambulatory services; and building and developing additional reporting layers.

Evolution were engaged by LTHT to deploy a team of leading experts in the industry, successfully embedding a Programme Manager, four Project Managers, a PMO Lead, three Business Analysts, two Project Support Consultants and a Data Migration Specialist.

Embedding a team of six for an immediate start was a big ask but Evolution made the process incredibly easy. They knew exactly what we he needed and understood the culture of the organisation. They never failed to update us on progress and each of the team members were brilliant and they made the administration as simple as possible. They couldn’t have done anything to improve our experience with Evolution, it was perfect!
