The Problem

Cloud Payments Software Spenmo, that partners with payment service providers licensed by the Monetary Authority of Singapore to provide its users with payments services, has recently closed US$ 34M Series A Funding and, as such, needed to engage an agile talent partner to meet its exciting goals. Engaging Evolution, Spenmo is looking to meet their next round of funding head on.

The Work

Evolution Recruitment Solutions are on hand to provide support whenever a need arises for Spenmo on an ongoing basis. Engaged initially to help scale their product team, we followed our talent sourcing methodology to first discover the types of profiles Spenmo needed from their product professionals by assessing competitors and the existing product team. After placing a Senior Product Manager we were then engaged to help find Software Engineers and UX professionals – combining the same methodology with Evolution’s advanced search function we reached out to already engaged professionals. To give balance to the profiles we provided we also launched a campaign to find passive candidates by building content around the Spenmo story and ambitions before using it to attract and engage strong, passive candidates.

The Outcome

With plans to triple the size of their product team by the end of 2022, Spenmo are growing aggressively. Through an agile sourcing methodology, Evolution are able to support Spenmo with growth at all levels and within all verticals.
