Last week, we held the first company meeting for all employees at our Head Office in Birchwood, to kick off 2018 with the awards for the previous quarter, as well as discussing plans for the year ahead.
2017 was another record year for Evolution, and December was our highest billing December ever, which was a fantastic achievement for the business as a whole. As well as discussing which people exceeded their targets in December 2017, we also heard from a number of Directors about plans for the year ahead, and who had won the annual awards, voted for by employees.
Flavio Arragoni, who only joined the business a few months ago, had a fantastic end to 2017 by winning the MVP award for December as well as the Championship Lead award. Another top achiever was Chis Bennett, who not only won the top biller award for the whole of 2017, but also the MVP for 2017 as well. Well done, Flavio and Chris!
When it came down to the annual awards, members from each level of the business received an award as voted for by their colleagues, such as Ferris Aitichison who won Consultant of the Year, Luke Campbell who won Sales Manager of the Year, and Jennifer Abdelaty who won UK Back Office Person of the Year. Well done to all of our winners!
Along with numerous other awards, we also heard about who has qualified for the next European quarterly incentive trip, as well as who is on track to qualify for our global annual trip in 2018. In just a matter of months, we are off to Tokyo!
Russell Webb, our Global Operations Director, also discussed the business' "Experience Groups" as part of the overall strategy for Evolution, and how we have been working as a business to improve the experience of our clients, candidates and employees. Over the last few months, employees have been coming together weekly to develop an ongoing strategy for all of these areas, and we are looking forward to seeing further developments throughout 2018.
Towards the end of the meeting, we heard from Gemma Higgins, our Customer Relationship Manager, who is also the Charity Coordinator at Evolution. In 2017, we raised over £11,000 for charity, more than half of which went to St. Rocco's Hospice in Warrington.
Rachel, St Rocco's Fundraising Manager, kindly came in to let us know how the money has helped the charity and contributed towards their Vitality Centre.
Once again, well done to all of our award winners – here's to an even more successful and record-breaking 2018!
