Remote working – required in London sporadically (1 day a week maximum)

I’m currently working with a global leader in the fintech space to help them find a new Technical Security Analyst to cover the EMEA region. This is a truly unique and exciting opportunity for a driven self-starter to join an exciting company.

This is a big and varied role – we are looking for genuinely ambitious people with great interpersonal skills who can take the responsibility for:

  • Improving the overall Security maturity by recommending and helping to implement new controls within our Cloud (Azure & AWS) and on-prem environments
  • Providing technical security expertise, advice, guidance and actions across infrastructure, application, architecture, Cloud and on-prem services
  • Managing the Security Logical User Access Control audits for all critical software and account recertification process/tracking
  • Security perimeter controls (e.g. Cloudflare/Firewalls), recommending improvements, monitoring and helping with remediation
  • Internal and external Vulnerability Scanning programme
  • Technical leading of Forensic Security related incidents/investigations (Azure/AWS/On-prem), log interrogation and someone who provides actionable intelligence and recommendations to further reduce / minimise our Cyber Security and Risk exposure
  • Endpoint Security Management (AV / Hardening controls) monitoring and remediation
  • Raising, monitoring, actioning Security Incidents, Service & Change Requests via the Jira change platform
  • Assisting with enhanced IT Security Programme, including endpoint EDR, Mobile Device Management, Endpoint Threat Detection management, MS Exchange advanced threat Protection, O365/Azure Security tools/policies/Alerts
  • Managing daily/weekly/monthly Security alerts from various platforms
  • Assisting with annual re-certification of the Company ISO/27001:2013 certification, PCI DSS & Cyber Essentials certifications
  • Ad-hoc report writing, Security Bulletins, Management Information, Security Updates, Security documentation & team procedures
  • Managing the Penetration Testing schedule and Cyber Threat Intelligence platform by tracking and resolving vulnerabilities identified, across multiple IT teams (inc Infrastructure/Development)
  • Assisting and helping co-ordinate both Internal and External audit activities / IT Security Questionnaires and support of Bids/RFI’s/Tenders/Due Diligence
  • Developing and establishing positive working relationships with IT, Risk and key business stakeholders
  • Recognising gaps in the effectiveness of the implemented Security controls, propose new and act upon opportunities for improvement
  • Supporting activities necessary to successfully undertake CBI, FCA, Banking, ISAE, ISO, Audit or ICO reporting requirements

If you can show me your experience in the following, then I want to speak with you:
  • Cloud security experience, primarily with AWS, but any Azure/MS Security Stack is also beneficial
  • On-prem technical/engineering security experience
  • Experience maintaining and auditing against standards ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, NIST and Cyber Essentials
  • Any application security experience, including API security knowledge
  • Any relevant security certifications, including but not limited to CISSP, CISA, CISM, CCSP, PCI DSS or AWS/Azure certifications
