IT Salary Guide 2019 | Evolution Recruitment Solutions

blog

Throughout 2018, we saw a significant increase in the number of IT and tech jobs in the UK, as well as a parallel surge in salaries within the sector. Our specialist IT recruitment consultants have also seen a noticeable increase in Machine Learning, AI, DevOps, Big Data, Data Science and CIO roles.

Last year, we saw a variety of trends and patterns within the industry, particularly businesses hiring for the new demand in AI and automation professionals. With Cybersecurity Awareness Month happening in October, the Gartner Symposium in November, Amazon adding four new AWS capabilities and everything else that happened throughout 2018, we are seeing companies’ awareness of their need for IT staff increasing rapidly. With some big changes set to happen for the UK and Europe in 2019, it is obvious that companies now understand the need for IT and tech talent on a much larger scale.
