Evolution Recruitment Solutions is sponsoring the Scala Manchester Meetup on Monday 25th September 2017.
Taking place at MadLab, this month’s Scala Manchester Meetup will be led by Matt Squire from Cake Solutions, who will be discussing speech recognition with Scala and how to build a search engine for speech.
In his talk, Matt will also discuss how speech recognition works, as well as looking at some commercial and free tools, and walking through a prototype implementation using Scala, Akka and the Sphinx speech processing library.
