After our very successful fundraising day on the 31st March, we managed to raise an impressive £651.14 across the whole building. As the price of the defibrillator is £1170 (excl. VAT) and Evolution Recruitment Solutions had generously agreed to match what we raised – we had enough to buy the device outright!
Many companies within the building got in contact with us and took part in the fundraising which means the defibrillator really was a group effort. Support from the staff in the Genesis Centre was also greatly appreciated.
From attending the first aid course to buying the defibrillator the whole process took less than three months. This can be attributed to the backing and support of Evolution who recognised a worthy cause and got behind it one hundred percent.
