Following an assessment to measure if Evolution met the requirements of the Cyber Essentials implementation profile, Evolution is now officially Cyber Essentials certified.
Cyber Essentials is a government-backed, industry supported scheme to help businesses and other organisations protect themselves against common cyber attacks. The Cyber Essentials scheme is owned by the UK government’s National Cyber Security Centre, which acts as a bridge between industry and government, providing a unified source of advice, guidance and support on cybersecurity. Their vision is to help make the UK the safest place to live and do business online.

As a result, after being assessed, Evolution's IT defences were measured as satisfactory against commodity based cyber-attacks.
