BadgerNet Floorwalking at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust

Oxford University Hospitals (OUH) required a dedicated team of experienced and pre-qualified floorwalkers to provide crucial on-site assistance during the implementation of the Badgernet Maternity Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system. This initiative involved supporting two significant go-live phases, with the first phase scheduled for January 23rd. Prior to the initial go-live, OUH provided comprehensive training to the floorwalkers to ensure they were well-prepared. The initial phase required a team of 8 floorwalkers, while the second phase necessitated an expanded team of 11 floorwalkers.

The Result

To support this critical project, we delivered a tailored solution by providing a team of pre-qualified and experienced floorwalkers who were proficient in the Badgernet system. We assumed full responsibility for managing and coordinating the floorwalkers, offering continuous on-site support and guidance to the client throughout the implementation process. This approach allowed OUH to concentrate on the go-live activities and operational readiness, while we ensured the seamless integration of the floorwalking team.

Evolution were able to understand our needs and provide a wide range of candidates for the project which were helpfully grouped based on experience, making interviewing much more straightforward. The successful candidates were knowledgeable, experienced, and able to support the staff with the changes well. The support from Evolution in managing the team meant we had little to do on a day-to-day basis and any problems were dealt with quickly and efficiently with someone always on hand if we needed them. When project needs changed, Evolution and the floorwalking team were able to adapt flexibly to these changes, ensuring continued support for the staff team.
