The Problem

Evolution were engaged to help with recruitment following the amalgamation of LSEG and Refinitiv. Two large organisations joining together brought up a lot more security issues but, alongside this, there were vacancies that needed to be filled where prior employees couldn ’t fill the new requirements of the new larger business.

The Work

We initially carried out a salary ratification of the market place, providing an education piece to show what they could achieve for varying salary rates. We then built a long list of candidates, in particular looking at diversity because LSEG needed to improve female representation. The roles being filled were high level business leaders who would have management responsibility of up to 200 people. They would be highly influential within the business, and the recruitment process therefore required approval from multiple stakeholders.

Managing the recruitment process involved taking a very hands on approach to interviews. As well as setting up and being involved in interviews, we took control of diaries and acted as a point of reference between stakeholders. This helped to ensure that the candidate experience was as good and efficient as possible.

The Outcome​

We were able to help LSEG recruit for roles including Information Security Officers, Head of IT Risk and Head of Cyber Security, Governance, Risk and Compliance. We were able to provide a diverse pool of candidates which met LSEG’ s targets of 50% diversity for each role, helping them to improve their female and minority representation at management level.

We’ve made a total of 129 placements with LSEG.
