Lead Product Owner – Remote (Permanent)

70% of the role will involve working as Product Owner on our Training Software platform, utilised by our diverse client base and 30% of the responsibilities to act as the main liaison between the Software Development Teams and multiple business units, ensuring business requirements are effectively communicated and met for successful project delivery. You will be able to achieve rapid career progression to Head of Product in a realistic time frame 6 – 12 months!

Key Skills

  • Collaborate with the Product Manager, business stakeholders, and clients to understand and capture requirements, translating them into an easily understood spec.
  • User stories, requirements documents, wireframes, etc.
  • Act as the subject matter expert for business requirements for the software development team.
  • Facilitate requirements prioritization sessions with the business, customers, and the software development team.
  • Analyse requirements.
  • Provide stakeholders with progress updates and metrics.
  • 30% Line Management role working with other Product Owners across the business to share best practices.
  • Support software development teams to ensure successful backlog delivery.
  • Present requirements and delivered features to key stakeholders.
  • Extensive experience in analysing business requirements and translating them into artefacts consumable by the Software Development Team.
  • Experience working with Agile development methodology.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps / Jira for planning and requirements is advantageous 
  • Ability to unite people with different viewpoints and cultural values.
  • Inspires co-workers to attain goals and pursue excellence.
