My client is an innovative Aerospace business and looking for a Security Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive security plan for the company, encompassing physical security, collaborating with Cyber Security experts and regulatory compliance.

Role Tasks

Develop and implement a robust security plan for the business ensuring the protection of assets, personnel, and sensitive information across various sites.

Work closely with Facilities, IT and Systems Engineering, as well as other key stakeholders, to mitigate security risks across the organization.

Conduct ongoing security risk assessments and audits to proactively identify vulnerabilities, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and industry best practices.

Develop and deliver security awareness and training programs for the business covering physical and cyber security.

Act as the liaison with regulatory authorities

Lead investigations into security breaches

Required Skills

Proven experience in a security management role, preferably in the aerospace, aviation, space or high-tech industry, with a focus on physical, personnel and cyber security.

In-depth knowledge of security principles, practices, and technologies, including physical security, access control, intrusion detection, network security, incident response, and risk management.

Familiarity with interfacing with regulatory bodies around security regulations and standards.

Experience in conducting security risk assessments, audits, and investigations, and implementing appropriate controls and countermeasures.

Membership/Fellowship of the UK Security Institute i.e Associate (ASyI), Member (MSyI) and Fellow (FSyI) or similar professional body.

Willing and able to go through a UK security clearances.
