Hybrid Working – would require days on site in Accrington (3 a week initially, reducing to 1/2 days and potentially to fully remote)

Are you:

an experienced Helpdesk, Service Desk, IT Support professional?
experienced in the management and leadership of more junior members of a team?
competent in your technical know-how, support and use of the Microsoft 365 (M365) suite including Intune, Azure Active Directory, PowerApps, PowerBI, etc.?
knowledgeable and experienced with other systems and software across areas such as VoIP, Mail Protection, etc.?
experienced working in ITIL environments? Or even ITIL certified?

My client, an organisation providing care and support services to vulnerable adults across the UK, are looking for a new leader in their Technical Helpdesk team.

This individual will be responsible for the leadership of the team whilst maintaining a hands-on approach to the technical elements of the helpdesk, particularly around the M365 suite.

It’s also essential that this person leads in practice but also strategically when it comes to policies and best practice. You’ll be responsible for ensuring that your team are consistently sticking to expected practices and standards and making sure these standards extend to the service users too.

We are looking to move relatively quickly on this role as it is an integral development point for my client. Ideally, we’ll be looking to hold initial interviews the week commencing 13/11/2023.
