Lead DevOps Engineer – Hybrid (Manchester) – £70-80k DOE + Bonus

I’m working with a client who is making a name for themselves and expanding rapidly in the Telecoms sector, having recently received £100m in Scaleup funding – their aim is to become an industry leader in the coming years. They are seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer to grow and oversee a new team. You’ll be responsible for managing and operating the infrastructure for various support systems for the business on private and public clouds.

Some of the responsibilities of the DevOps team include creating infrastructure as code patterns, completing integration testing, building data operations functions and implementing appropriate security controls.

A strong team culture is really important to them – the working environment is relaxed and friendly and you’ll be encouraged to bring your own ideas to the table. You will need to be able to commute to the the Irlam office a couple of times per week with the rest working from home on a flexible basis.

Being a Lead position, you’ll need high-level stakeholder communication experience and will need to demonstrate experience of building/leading a team.

You’ll play a key role in the development and growth of the company and will receive an attractive package including bonus, generous pension, private health care and flexible working.
