We’re looking for a ZenDesk Engineer to join a global leader in tech-enabled creative production and procurement. 

The Role 

You will be the central point of contact for all ZenDesk application support issues and requests. As well as being responsible for the day to day running of ZenDesk. This is a system that has a number of configuration and automation changes already running. With new requests coming through to enhance the system daily. It’s the perfect blend of support and project work.

Responsibilities 

You will be responsible for the following:

  • Oversee operations and configuration changes, optimizations, and best practices within Zendesk
  • Work closely with IT and Business Operations to ensure the optimization of Zendesk for 300+ Agents
  • Improve and optimize the configuration and maintenance of Zendesk Support, Chat, Guide, and Explore as well as associated integrations – including triggers, automations, macros, queries, and dashboards
  • Support day-to-day Zendesk operations and Zendesk integrations
  • Develop reporting KPIs for Zendesk Agents and Administrators
  • Automate Zendesk workflows within and across systems to improve efficiency and reducing manual tasks
  • Create and provide internal documentation including, but not limited to Release Notes and user instructions
  • To maintain a first-class level of customer service ensuring that all customers are treated efficiently and in an appropriate manner.
  • Maintain excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical colleagues at all levels in the organisation.
  • To be a highly motivated team player with the skills and ability to manage changing priorities.
  • Be willing to attend internal training as necessary to keep up to date with the latest technology and internal system processes.

Essential Skills 

  • 2-3 years of recent experience as a Zendesk Administrator for complex Zendesk installations and configurations.
  • Experience with Zendesk Developer tools including Zendesk apps and APIs
  • Experience with Zendesk Explore dashboard configuration to clearly display KPIs
  • Ideally a Zendesk certification (nice to have).
