The Problem

Appscore is an Australian-owned, digital consulting agency with a focus on providing resources for digital transformations. They work with many well-known local brands such as NAB, Medibank, Australia Post, and more.
When COVID-19 first hit, many projects went on pause due to so much uncertainty and it wasn’t until mid-2021 when recruitment really started to pick back up. However, as projects started to resume, there was a major shortage of local engineers due to COVID. Specialised agencies, like Evolution, were in high demand for our ability to find and access highly valuable engineers.

The Work

The nature of working with consultancies is quite different from working with clients directly. There is only so much information we know about the end client and projects. This means we are only involved in the beginning of the process of resourcing the right people, who will then work directly with Appscore for the rest of the interview phase. With an effective method of building pipelines of quality candidates, we were able to quickly deliver the skillsets as required.
Evolution has placed a variety of roles across different verticals including Mobile Developers, Front-end Engineers, Back-end Engineers, QA’s, and Scrum Masters.

The Outcome

With our proven record in finding great talent, this was a beneficial partnership for both parties. Our expertise in the tech market allowed us to focus on tracking down quality candidates, while Appscore took care of the interview process, allowing for a more efficient delivery.
