The Problem

MTC are a digital agency offering web design and development and Digital Products services. Following a period of high growth in 2020, MTC wanted to open a new office in Bristol in addition to existing ones in Dundee and Edinburgh.

The Work

Evolution were engaged to build the entire team in Bristol around an existing team member. Because this was a whole team rather than just individual members, it was important to not just find talented people, but people who would work well together.

Due to several candidates being hired together, organisation and communication were paramount to ensure that the best possible team was hired. Oli Stockford, a consultant at Evolution, managed the entire project and arranged everything up to offer stage, including sourcing candidates, pre-screening, arranging interviews and gathering feedback. This also meant that Oli had an in-depth knowledge of the staffing requirements that needed to be filled.

This method helped to ensure that the new team was ready to go as soon as possible, with limited disruption to daily work for stakeholders.

The Outcome

Having placed a total of 12 candidates with MTC so far, the new office in Bristol is fully staffed and working cohesively. Our relationship with MTC has grown and Evolution are now chosen recruiters for future expansion projects.

“Oli was always there, he kept me up to date, he kept me on the right track. I found that whole experience in terms of comms and all the rest of it absolutely brilliant. That’ s why I’ ve been happy to recommend Evolution to other companies. I’ ve never ever done that for another recruiter before because I’ ve never had as good an experience. It was absolutely spot on.”
